RACIAL POLARIZATION GROWS MORE APPARENT
By Pastor Dan Gayman
The revenge assassination of two police officers shot to death on the streets of Brooklyn, NY on Saturday, December 19, 2014 has pushed the growing divide between Whites and the Black and Liberal coalition to new heights! A third White policeman was killed on Sunday, December 21, 2014 in Tarpon Springs, Florida. These killings have polarized Blacks and Whites in cities across America.
The grievance industry fueled by the likes of Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakan Muhammad, Sr., and New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, together with the liberal television anchors, ratcheted up the kind of language that has inspired and continues to feed the racial divide in New York and elsewhere. The rising racial polarization between White and Black America was inflamed when a Grand Jury refused to indict a White police officer, Darren Wilson, for the shooting death of a Black man, Michael Brown, in Ferguson, Missouri on August 9, 2014. On November 25, 2014, the Grand Jury in Ferguson, Missouri handed down the decision not to indict Officer Darren Wilson. In the aftermath of this incident, an explosion of riots, plunder, and burnings ruined lives, destroyed business establishments, and cost millions in Ferguson, Missouri.
Earlier in the summer, July 17, 2014, Eric Garner, a Black man, died after a struggle with White policemen on the streets of New York City. On December 6, 2014, a Grand Jury handed down a decision and refused to indict the White police officers who were involved in Garner’s death. In the aftermath of this Grand Jury decision, Bill de Blasio, Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakan, and liberal television pundits exacerbated the situation with inflammatory language that was prejudiced against the New York police force. In the aftermath of this Grand Jury decision, continued street protests have been staged in New York City. At least one or more of these demonstrations called for the killing of cops. The death of these three police officers can be attributed to those who called for the killing of cops. The assassin who killed the two policemen in New York City was Ismaaiyl Brinsley. This alleged Muslim shot the officers as he ambushed the patrol car in which they were riding. He had a long history of criminal behavior and arrests.
The racial crisis grows more alarming as the Black/White Liberal grievance industry continues to spew inflammatory language that incites continued racial unrest. White/Black liberal television pundits, politicians, educators, and race baiters are only increasing the racial divide between White and Black America.
Americans living in the ‘40s and early ‘50s recall when White/Black relations in America were excellent. Before the era of U.S. Court decisions that banned segregation of the races, America was a vastly different country. Prior to the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Affirmative Action policies of the 1960s, War on Poverty (1965), and the shocking number of government welfare payments to ever-increasing numbers of unwed Black mothers, America was a vastly different country. Before this landside of change took place in American history, Black children were being raised with both parents in the home. They attended schools with their own kind, enjoying relative peace and quiet in Black communities across America. Blacks were out working and making their way. Children grew up knowing that if they worked hard and demonstrated good character, they could climb out of poverty and move out of the slums.
Race relations in the United States are not getting better. The forty-four million Blacks will swell to even greater numbers. Young, unemployed Black males, living among drug peddlers and gang warfare, are packed like sardines into the ghettos of America. This is a storm ready to blow across the urban cities of America.
Considering the fact that the grievance industry, together with professional Communist agitators, continues to fan the flames of racism with the aid of the Federal Government, the future of the country is at risk for major violence. It is little wonder that gun sales have literally exploded across America in recent years. Are people instinctively preparing for something that no one wants to think about?
Remnant Christians must flee the urban jungles of America and find safe areas in the rural and semi-rural areas of the country. Parents, take responsibility for your children and teach them what they need to know about their heritage, how to defend themselves, and how to become street smart about the racial issues of the 21st Century.
